Guy Amram is a French actor who has made numerous appearances in supporting roles in a career spanning over two decades. He was born in ‘La Ville Rose’ (the Pink City), Toulouse, which is the capital of France’s southern Occitanie region. He made his debut with the supporting role of Alexandre in an episode of Jean-Luc Azoulay’s drama TV series “Hélène et les garçons” (1992).
He featured in several side roles in TV shows such as “Commissaire Moulin” (1993), “Les filles d'à côté” (1994), and “Court toujours: Joséphine et les gitans” (1995) before bagging his first supporting role on the big screen as the Ghettor in Merzak Allouache’s comedy “Salut Cousin!” (1996).
However, Amram did not attain a high celebrity status until his next movie “La Vérité si je mens!” (1997), a comedy directed by Thomas Gilou. Amram portrayed the character of a mafia member, René the Blue Eyes. He reprised that role in the movie’s second sequel “La Vérité si je mens! 3” (2012).
His other notable works include “Gomez et Tavarès” (2003), “Banlieue 13: Ultimatum” (2009), “Que justice soit nôtre” (2014), and the second season of crime-thriller TV show “Engrenages” (2008). In 2016, Amram cracked his way into Bollywood with a cameo appearance in Aditya Chopra’s rom-com “ Befikre Click to look into! >> Read More... .” He currently resides in the French capital of Paris with his wife, and son, Sacha.
