DD Dabke is an actor who acted in the first-ever full-length silent Indian film called Raja Harishchandra. The movie was directed by Dada Saheb Phalke in 1917. His acting became a pioneering monument for actors at that time as he was considered a legend for becoming the first-ever actor. In the same year, he appeared in another movie called Lanka Dahan.
He only made three movies and later became a director and cinematographer. He directed the remake of Raja Harishchandra in 1924. He also worked as a cinematographer in movies like Bismi Sadi, Vimla and many others.
