Bahadoor is a legendary stage actor, who has predominantly been a part of the Malayalam film industry. He has made many prominent changes in the industry. He made sure comedians were given noteworthy and significant roles in movies. Bahadoor’s birth name is P. K. Kunjalu. He was born in a poverty-stricken family, in Thrissur, Kerala, in the year 1930. Bahadoor joined the Farook College, situated in Calicut, but unfortunately, he couldn't complete his studies because of the financial crisis.

After dropping out of college, he became a bus conductor, but still his heart yearned to be an Actor. The popular Malayalam Director Thikkurisi gave Kunjalo his break, by signing him for his movies. It was this director, who assigned Kunjalo the name Bahadoor. He first debuted in the year 1954, with the film Avakashikal. In the year 1996, Bahadoor quenched his thirst for acting as a hero, by signing up the movie Neelisali, opposite actress Kanchana. Again he played the lead role in the movie Mucheettukalikkarante Makal, which was the story of the popular Malayalam writer Basheer. He loved stage plays and performed dramas whenever he had the time for it. Production works fascinated him and made him open a studio for processing black and white movies, called as K. C. Lab.

Unfortunately, the business faced loss, as all the directors started to make color films. Kunjalo ignored the failures and went on to start his own movie distribution company, which was also a loss. Bahadoor was regularly seen on the silver screen until the year 1996. He then took a break for four years and returned in 2000 for the movie Joker. He played the role of a retard in a circus, who ends up his life by committing suicide. This movie, which had actor Dileep in the lead, was Bahadoor’s last film. This comedy king passed away in the year 2000, due to heart attack and internal brain bleeding. Kunjalu is survived by his wife Jameela and three children, Siddiq, Muhammed and Rukiya.
