Akhil Iyer

Akhil Iyer is an Indian film actor who has predominantly worked in Bollywood film, Tamil film, and advertisement industry. He was born on 3 October 1987 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He belongs to a family of doctors. Dr. Asha Iyer is his mother who is a gynaecologist and Dr. Ram Iyer is his father who is an orthopaedic surgeon. He has one brother and his name is Nikhil Iyer. He did his schooling in Bangalore from St. Joseph’s High School. Being a sports enthusiast he played cricket in Zonal Level during his school days. He has finished his graduation in Computer Science Engineering from PES school of engineering, Bangalore.

After graduation, he quit his studies to try his luck in Bollywood. He is popular in Bollywood for his role in his debut film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. He has featured in TV commercials of some top brands.
