Vikas Mehandroo is an Indian model known as a contestant from Splitsvilla 3 MTV, an Indian television dating reality show that airs on MTV India, created by Purvish Bhatt & Shweta Jangra, and produced by Colosseum media. It released on 20 June 2008. Mehandroo is positioned as a runner up and was the king for episodes 9 & 11. He was born in Delhi, currently residing in Los Angeles. His upbeat attitude and everlasting smile won the hearts of many young Indian audiences. He is optimistic, practical, confident, and a hard worker who always acted upon his guidance. Mehandroo started modeling as a hobby, which later turned into a passion. In 2007, he entered in a Pageant with Jinder (Chauhan) in L.A. Later, he came across South Asia Inc. on a website and decided to compete in the Mr.India/ Mr.America 2008 competition, where he got picked & won the Mr.Photogenic prize. In 2009, he competed in Mr.Universe Model Pageant 2009 in the Dominican Republic. He also trotted the ramp vying for the crown of Mr.Globe, Mr.International & Mr.Universe. Later, he became a successful manager at a car dealership after doing some globe-trotting in Europe. He was honored the “Best National Costume & Mr.Congeniality,” in Mr.Universe competition. In an interview, Mehandroo talks about how he always wanted to be a film actor and his dream to be a model/an actor and represent India at the International stage.
