Vaishali Desai is an Indian actress, model and was born on 18th of December 1989 in Bangalore. Her parents are Vidyut Desai and Priti Desai and she is the grandniece of , who is a well known Gujarati filmmaker. She studied in Sophia High School, Bangalore and she is a Psychology graduate of Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Her two sisters are Jaituni Desai and and Jaituni is a prominent model in India. Vaishali started modeling when she was fourteen and she was a top model in Bangalore. But the most important turning point of her modeling career was her first TV commercial for Ponds Dream flower Talk. Also, she has appeared in TV commercials such as Swarnam oil, Power detergent, Tanishq, Compaq and Raymonds, Sunfeast and Dabur Gulabari. Her first music video was “Aisa Na Dekho Mujhe” of . Afterward, she appeared in three music videos for Euphoria. She became the second runner-up in the Elite Look of the Year contest and third runners-up in Pond's Femina Miss India contest becoming Miss India International. Also, she participated Miss International contest held in Tokyo. As a model, she has worked with the top Indian designers and she was a ramp model in Dhaka Fashion, Lakme Fashion week, Sri Lankan Fashion week and shows organized by L'Oreal and Moschino. Her career as a film actress began in 2009 and she has appeared in three Hindi films; “” (2009), “Tukkaa Fitt” (2012) and “” (2015). She has nominated for Lux Sabsey Favorite Kaun award in 2010 and she won awards such as Gauravvanti Gujarati Award (2011), All India Achievers Conference (2009) and All India Achievers Conference (2010).
