He was very close to his grandparents and to his family. According to Vaibhav, when he was small, he loved playing gully cricket with his friends in the streets of Rajinder Nagar.

He has studied in several schools; mainly in D.A.V School, Delhi. He has an interest in music and martial arts. After completing the higher studies, Vaibhav began his career in modelling.
