He has completed his schooling from Delhi Public School, Rohini, New Delhi and higher studies from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Media and Communication Pune, Maharastra and is now planning to study further in abroad. Dhruv is pretty much a combination of all things an actor requires such as, fun, chirpy, simple and appreciates little things in life. He commenced his career by working on two documentaries which were directed by Jaideep Verma. It was the most crucial period of his life, and ever since then, he has always been working on some non-fiction projects. Dhruv has dug the local independent hip hop/rap scene which was the most subculture scene which took out the real potential within him, Divine and Prabhu Deep were his liked artists.

Dhruv Sehgal co-wrote and acted in the various skits. He’s every bit of the shy writer. The young actor has co-written a lot of comics and made sketches in the writing world which won him a special place in the heart of his fans.
