Nikita Anand is an Indian model, television actress and beauty queen. She was born to a Punjabi family in Jalandhar, Punjab in 1983. Her father is a doctor in Indian army. Nikita studied in multiple schools due to the constant transfers of her father in different cities like Mumbai, Jharkhand, Delhi and Pune. At the age of 13, Nikita participated in beauty pageants and then crowned as Miss Ranchi. In the year 2003, Nikita won the Famine Miss India contest. Nikita also received a chance to representing India at Miss Universe pageant that was held in Panama. She also won the ‘Face Hunt Model’ title on India times in 2002.
Nikita was very busy with her assignments like walking the ramp, print modeling and playing the host of cricket and fast cars show on the small screen. Nikita did anchoring for the shows like ‘Cup Tak’ on Star News, ‘Lage Raho India' on Star News and 'Cricket Tri Series’ in Malaysia. She also was the host of the car shows like 'Auto Expo 2006' of Ford in Delhi, ‘Mahindra & Mahindra’ and ‘SAARC Car Rally Summit 2007’.
Nikita started her career from Bollywood movie ‘
Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee’ in 2007. In this film she played a role of Rajeev's girlfriend. She also played her debut in '
Dil Dosti Etc' in 2007 as ‘Prerna’ who was the extrovert college student.
Taran Adarsh praised her performance in this movie though it was flop at the box office. She appeared in some other films like ‘Khallas: The Beginning of End’, ‘Ek Second... Jo Zindagi Badal De?’ as Tamanna in 2010. In 2013 she played a role as Pooja in 'Four Two Ka One'.
