Dilshad Pastakia is a well-known hair designer in the Mumbai Bollywood industry. She began her working as a hairdo when she was just 15 years old. Then, she moved to the UK to study further in the field of hair. Later, she started working in her mother’s parlor.

She is a vivacious and full of energy woman. She is married and has two children. Her mother and friend-cum-associate started a beauty parlor in Mumbai named as Yasmin and Nalini. She stated in an interview that working her mother was not easy. She was very strict and disciplined. Her mother was focused on working hard for the advancement of their salon. Prior to working in the salon, she did a basic course on the west side and learned other things in her mom’s studio.

Coming to her personal lifestyle, she tied the knot to Gaurav. She has two cute sons. Their names are Dania and Dalai. She took a break after their birth. After some time, she joined her work again. Her husband supports her in every part of life, and helps her to manage the responsibilities and duties of their home. She devotes most of her time to the Hair India People Organization. This institute deals to provide training to unprivileged and young people in the field of styling hair. She has conducted and participated in the marathon of hairs and gave all her funds to her charity. She uses the HIP platform to bring out some great reformation in the industry like certification, upgrading standards for the upliftment, and working on to make the Indian industry a top class one.

Presently, she stated that the working scenario has changed. Years back, actors used to come to the salon and have the cuts. Now, they need to go to their studios and sets.
