GÂ LÂ Bhardwaj is a well-known producer and director. He was born in Lahore, Pakistan, and later shifted to Mumbai for his work. He has mostly worked in the Hindi film industry. He completed his graduation from DAV College Lahore, Pakistan. After his graduation, he started working as a camera person and an assistant director in the industry. After some time, he produced his own work. Some of his best works include Aah in 1953, Shree 420 in 1955, and Savita Rathi-sarpanch in 2015. In 1973, he received national awards for Best Film in Social Documentation (Land Of Krishna) and Best Promotional Film (Fiber the Fabric of Life).
