He used to make designs for Ensemble in his early days of career. Kumar was the founding fashion editor of Elle Magazine for many international fashion publications in 1996. Narendra worked hard over the years and was associated with Verve and Elle and after collaborating with many textile companies, he launched his line of men and women western wear in 2000.
His fashion line is currently available in Mumbai and Delhi as AZA Men. Narendra also went to NIFT as a faculty member and taught Fashion History, Design Concept, International Fashion Trends and Forecasting, Pattern Making, Garment Manufacturing Technology, and Fashion Marketing.
