Sushanto Sarkar is an Indian Entrepreneur. He was born in June 1985. Sushanto Sarkar's father, Ranjan Sarkar, is a retired government employee, and his mother Nirmala Sarkar, is a homemaker. He is older than his only sister, Priyamani Sarkar. His first venture, launched in 2010, was a digital marketing agency mainly aiming at offering opportunities to these firms to establish an online presence and to explore through the digital landscape. It soon became popular in no time. Since this first achievement, Sushanto had to observe lots of potentials in solutions with e-commerce and thus launched a marketplace focusing on local artisans-the place where they needed to showcase and sell their products. Sushanto managed many projects, including partnership with tech startups to develop innovative new mobile applications to make life easier and more productive. He works with multiple organizations, fueling innovation and youth entrepreneurship, by offering guidance and mentorship for young entrepreneurs. Sushanto's entrepreneurial career includes several awards, such as the Young Entrepreneur Award along with recognition by various industry associations.
