Gurudutt Shirali was a distinguished and skilled editor in India who primarily worked for the Hindi industry. Initially, he worked as Assistant Editor, Sound Editing, and Associate director. Gurudutt surprised everyone with his excellent editing skills. He has done great editing in famous films like Sanam, Sangliana Part III (a cast member), Thodasa Roomani Ho Jaaye, Saudagar, Kaash, Jewel Thief, Parakram, etc. Gurudutt has contributed immensely to Hindi cinema through editing. As a result, he got the National Film Award and Filmfare Award for Best Editing. Unfortunately, Gurudutt left the world on 28 August 2006 in Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai.Â
