Dj VaaiB

DJ VaaiB is an Indian disc jockey and remix producer. He was born on 4th October 1988 in Mumbai where he grew up. DJ Vaaib’s birth name is Vaibhav Pitale. He attended school at the Anudatta Vidyalaya. He began attending college at the University of Mumbai in 2015 and is about to pass out from the college in 2019.

DJ VaaiB first became interested in electronic music in 1994. When he was six years old, DJ VaaiB decided that he would grow up to become a disc jockey after listening to a Reggae record collection. He soon started learning drums and played in a few bands with his friends. When he was fourteen years old, his mother and father bought him his first set of turntables. This was when he started learning how to remix songs and tunes. He would often go to the clubs and listen to remixes by other Disc Jockeys. This further ignited his dream to become a Disc Jockey.

When he was seventeen years old, DJ VaaiB gave his first show in 2005. This marked the beginning of DJ VaaiB’s career as a professional disc jockey. DJ VaaiB soon became a household name at night clubs in Mumbai and internationally. Since then, DJ Vaibhav has been working as a freelance disc jockey, who travels to many cities while developing new remixes. DJ VaaiB is known to use hip hop, electro progressive, Dutch Retro, Bollywood Retro, dubstep and Electro House styles among many others in his remixes. DJ VaaiB likes to look at dance music from a broad perspective. He does not like to stick to one dance style but on the style his current audience needs for the occasion, based on the mood and groove of the atmosphere to make sure that the people keep their feet moving continuously.

He plays remixed music in various Indian cities and abroad. He is currently the Resident Disc Jockey at a night and dance club named Rupee @ St James in Singapore. DJ Vaaib won the War Of Da Spinning Masters in 2010. He also won Rhythm War of The DJ in 2011.
