Tunali Mukherjee

Tunali Mukherjee is a filmmaker, journalist, and photographer. She is from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She began her career with Hindustan Times, Mumbai, where she worked as a photojournalist and photographed for daily news to sports and fashion.

Later, she switched to shooting for magazines like Harpers Bazaar, Marie Claire, Sports Illustrated, and others. Her works have been featured in Better Photography and Beautiful People.

She has written several shows for TV, including Myntra Fashion Superstar, Ekaant, Indipedia, and others. She is working with production Houses include companies such as Viacom18, Mumbai Mirror Click to look into! >> Read More... , MidDay, Epic TV, Cox & Kings, National Geographic Traveller India, and several European media networks.

In 2008, she had won the Silver prize for Best Spot News photography at the IFRA Asia Media Awards. She was part of the Young Asian Photographer's workshop conducted in Cambodia in 2008. In 2009, she was also given the Ibibo iFashion Photographer award for fashion photography. She was part of the Fair trade exhibition held in Kolkata by the Drik Photo Agency.

Her photographs have been published in magazines in UK and Europe, and some of her pictures have been exhibited in a museum in Scotland also. She has shot backstage at the Lakme Fashion week for more than a decade. She is also the visiting professor for cinema at KC College, BMM, and Mumbai, Maharashtra.
