Sumit Namdhari is an established director and writer in the filmmaking industry. He completed his education at College of Engineering in Pune in the year 2009. In 2017, he showcased his skills as a Chief Associate Director for Prasad Creations. The following year, he worked as an additional screenplay writer for Urja Products Pvt Ltd where he curated the web series called HUTATMA. Sumit then worked as full time content developer at Soliflicks Filmworks based in Mumbai.
In September 2021, Namdhari volunteered as a freelance assistant director for Pune film Company and contributed to the release of the Marathi film called Shaymchi Aai. Additionally, he worked as a first assistant director at Temple bells, administrating film scheduling and on set supervision throughout 2023. His prominent projects as a writer include a short film called Chhal the deception (2018) and movies like Glory- Go for the Goal (2019) and Tajmal where he aided as an assistant director.
