Rahul Chaudhari is a director working in the Marathi film industry. He started his career from theatre. He worked both as a director and an actor in the theatres. His first movie as a director was released in 2017. The movie is called Bandookya. Bandookya is a romantic drama movie which highlights the social stigmas and taboos of the rural parts of India.
Rahul’s next movie is another upcoming Marathi film called Iblis. The story centres around a boy who moves to the city from a very rural village, and is faced with dilemmas of class inequality. In an interview, Rahul said that he the story of the movie itself desired hiring new actors rather than any big names. Â

is also a consequential part of the storyline, as the story is metaphorically based about how Chhatrapati rose to the challenges himself. In another interview, Rahul claims that he didn’t want to glorify war and hence the ideas of Shivaji will be portrayed very differently. After completing Iblis, Rahul will be seen making his Bollywood debut.
The name or details of the movie are yet to be announced but it will be another intellectual drama like his previous projects.
