Pranit Sahni

Pranit Sahni is a producer and director in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has lived in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and moved to and lived in Bangalore in 2015. He has two brothers, Kartik Mahajan and Shlok Dugar. Pranit Sahni went to Army Public School, Delhi, from 2008-12. He studied B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology, Tamil Nadu, from 2012-16, where he was the former General Secretary at VIT Film Society, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. He directed the VIT Unplugged series in 2015 and the VITian and Proud series in 2016 for the admissions promotion at VIT University.

He joined an internship at Mahanagar Gas Limited, Mumbai, in December 2014, where he worked in the Projects department and the O&M department for 15 days. He was also the former Creative Assistant at Think and Learn Private Limited (Byju's Classes) in Bangalore from 22 December 2015 to 26 August 2017, where he worked in the Product Development Team. He worked as the Creative Head at Grades Don't Matter, Bangalore, from September to October 2017. He also worked as a Freelance Film Director from 27 August 2017 to 25 February 2018. He has worked at Jugaad Motion Pictures, Mumbai, which specializes in the conceptualization and execution of feature films, advertisements, and music videos. He has worked there as a director and producer since 26 February 2018. He is known for his work as a director, producer, and editor in the short films First Time (2015), shortlisted in the Top 25 of Cineshorts, 2015, and Muskan (2014), shortlisted in the Top 50 of Cineshorts, 2014, issued by Viacom 18 and associated with VIT Film Society. Muskaan also won second prize in IIT Guwahati Alcheringa, 2015.
