Parijat Joshi

Parijat Joshi is an Indian director and screenwriter who has worked for many major Indian TV houses.  A resident of Mumbai and a well-qualified person, he has worked for over a decade in the Indian film-making industry. In the year 2005, he joined the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, from where he graduated with a Bachelors in Engineering(B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics engineering. After that, he pursued his B.Tech from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bangalore.

As per records, his first job was in 2009 when he joined ESPN STAR Sports as a Management Trainee in November. He was responsible there for several tasks such as selling 'Airtime'( which included selling properties like the FIFA World Cup 2010, T20 World Cup 2010, premium golf events, Australian Open, Wimbledon, among many others), recommending strategies to the clients to increase their brand recognition through various brand promotional and above the line activities and was responsible for getting new clients for the firm to increase their client portfolio. He worked in this firm for a hefty period of 2 years and 7 months.

In May 2012, he joined Viacom 18 Media Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Executive and Ad Sales for Colors. He was in Gurgaon during that time and worked on this firm for almost a year and 2 months. He finally left Viacom 18 in June 2013 and joined UTV Network the same month. Here he was designated to the post of Assistant Director. This was his first position regarding his present career and the jumpstart to his new beginning. He stayed with UTV for 1 year and 2 months and then left for his freelancing career as a screenwriter for Bollywood.
