Nishant Rana

Nishant Rana is an Indian director, composer, and editor mainly active in the Hindi entertainment industry. Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Nishant is a commercial director specializing in genres like humour, narrative, and stylistic films. He is a graduate of Mass Media and Film Studies. With his early education from The Scindia School, Nishant joined Jai Hind College in Mumbai for a Bachelor's of mass Media in Journalism during 2010-2013. Nishant completed his film, cinema, and video studies at Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario. From 2015 to 2022, he worked in the post of director at Boom Man Studios in Mumbai. Later, he joined eTribe Studio as a film director in May 2022. Nishant Rana directed several ad films for brands like McDonald's, Asian Paints, Uber, Big Bazaar, Aditya Birla Capital, Kohinoor Basmati Rice, and many more.

In 2010, Nishant Rana wrote and directed a short fantasy video entitled Pankh, which starred Mohammad Aryaan Sunni. This video made him the Runner Up at the Verite Film Festival of Kashmir 2011. It also won the title of Best International Film at the Shortie Film Festival, USA, in 2011. Later, in 2011, Nishant directed another video, Safar, starring Sumit Kadvasara. Diaries in 2012 is another hit video by Nishant.
