Benoy Kumar Behl is an Indian film-maker who was born on September 10th, 1956 in New Delhi. Heis into photography as well and done some remarkable works in his lifetime. He has a B.A. (Honours in English) degree from the University of Delhi. Behl has taken photographs all around the world and captured historical moments, ancient art and ancient Buddhist paintings of India.
He has photographed Badami caves, Lepakshi Temple, Brahadeeshwara Temple, etc. Behl’s first two documentary films made during 1976 and telecast on Doordarshan. Some of his other documentaries include Another Look at Khadi, First Himalayan Car Rally, The Sculpture of India, Divine Marriage, etc. He has taken more than 35000 photographs and more than 100 documentaries.
