Jainendra Jain is a man of virtue who has successfully contributed a sack of works in the entertainment industry as a screenwriter, producer and also a director. This cheerful personality was born on 4th October 1939 in Surat, Gujarat. He has given his contributions in 33 films as a writer and is also a director and producer of Jaanoo(1985) which is one of his impressive works and had Kushboo, Jackie Shroff, and Rati Agnihotri as the star casts. He has given blockbusters like Tere Naam one of the prevalent films of 2003, Judaai of 1997, Kalicharan from the 1970’s and last but not the least Daag: The Fire which was released in the year 1999. He began as a journalist in the famous Times of India, where he served for more than a decade.He gave a writing debut Bobby, released in 1973, which proved to be amongst the top second ranking hits of 1970’s characterizing Dimple Kapadia and Rishi Kapoor as the lead roles. He moved forwand and cooperatively integrated with some famous directors of that time such as Raj Kapoor, Bapu, K. Vishwanath, SubhashGhai, Raj Kanwar and Satish Kaushik. Jainendra Jain had specified Teree Sang as a ‘Kidult love story.’ Jainendra Jain had enlightened us with this term. The star cast of the film was Ruslaan Mumtaz who was previously seen in MP3 - Mere Pehla Pehla Pyaar and Sheena Shahabadi. The film received a wide range of responses as some people had welcomed the new thinking of younger generation having babies. Jainendra Jain as a dialogue director has produced over 20 movies and some of them are Tere Naam released in 2003,Teree Sang (2009), DhaaiAksharPremKe (2000), Andaaz (2003), Daag: the fire (1999), Khaan Dost (1976), Hamara Dil Aap Ke Paas Hai (2000), Hum AapkeDil Mai Rehte Hain (1999), Judaai (1997) and Bobby (1973). He has composed ChhotaAadmi and Who Saat Din as a lyricist. Jainendra Jain is a real time contributor as a writer of many famous films such as Judaai, Prem Pratigya, Tere Naam, Teree Sang, Satyam ShivamSundaramand Bobby.One of the famous dialogue from his film Bobby is ‘Mujhsedostikaroge?’ Jainendra Jain couldn’t continue his contribution as he expired due to lung infection when he was 68 years old that was on 23rd December 2007 in Mumbai. Late Jainendra Jain was an illustrious man with some distinctive features who seamlessly contributed to our entertainment industry.
