Her father’s name is Anand Bhushan, who has studied B.Sc in Zoology. Tanya started dancing at the age of three. She has performed in many stage shows from a small age of eight. Her favorite cartoon character is Donald Duck.

Tanya was also known as the locking and popping expert of Boogie Woogie. She was also very proficient in hip-hop dance style. She, with other contestants of the show, performed at a concert (dance concert) at Delhi in Talkatora Stadium.
