Gulabo Sapera or Dhanvantri is an Indian actor and a dancer. She was born in 1960 in the family of Kalbalia community in Rajasthan, India. Gulabo Sapera is known for her dance as participatory no. 12 in season 5. She initiated her career as a dancer in the 2005. She appeared in Bigg Boss season 2011.

They were 7 brothers and sisters in total. She was the youngest girl in the family and because of this they decided to kill her and for that they buried her just after an hour of her birth. She was saved by a lady who was her aunt in relation. That lady adopted her as her child and they stayed together till 1982 till when her aunt died due to health problems. Her step father gave her humorous name as Gulabo because she was an innocent and a naughty girl.

She started her career in the music industry with Thierry Robin, a well known composer, improviser and a developer of a particular genre of music rooted in the Mediterranean world. She was open to the world about the truth behind her life about burying her under the earth by her family. This secret was opened to the society when she was just introduced after her dance performance at Big Boss season 5. She held the 16th position in Big Boss season 5 and was expelled from the show on the 14th day.

Gulabo is well known for her career as a dancer. Gulabo Sapera is also honored by the book “Gulabi Sapera1” a Gipsy dancer of the Kalbeliya family from Rajasthan.
