Arushi Mudgal is a dancer from India. She was born in 1986, in Odisha, India. Arushi Mudgal has worked predominantly in the Mollywood entertainment industry. She started learning Odissi dance from her aunt, Padmashri Madhavi Mudgal, at the age of 5. She did her schooling at Carmel Convent, Delhi. Thereafter, she completed her graduation from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi. Furthermore, she has passed the Visharad examination of the Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal in Odissi dance and the Madhyama Purna exam in classical vocal music. She belongs to a family of artists. Her father, Madhup Mudgal, is a prominent singer. Being surrounded by such great artists, Arushi developed an interest in dance. She has represented our country at several prestigious events around the world.
She has performed in several countries, including Brazil, France at Theatre de la Ville, Germany at Berlin Festspiele, and Morocco at Fez Festival. Her achievements include the Indian President’s Bal Shree Award in 2002 by the National Bal Bhavan, Delhi; the Original Mind Award in 2002 in the category of Performing Arts; and the Sanatan Nritya Puraskar in 2006.
