Abhik Banerjee

Abhik Banerjee is an Indian dancer and Choreographer.This Kolkata boy was born in 1994 in Ranchi. He was one of the contestants of the popular Dance Reality Show named Dance India Dance. He received his training in classical dance, specialising in Kathak. He got the professional training from Shubhojeet Shom, a renowned dancer in Kolkata. After DID, He started working as a choreographer, and worked the famous Choreographer Saroj khan for more than four years in her dance company.

He took workshops throughout the country. One of such workshops was in Jabalpur by the Narmada Events, A part of the show Summer Blast 2013. He taught Aerobics with Dance there and trained people in the Art form. Abhik ventured into the profession of acting also. He worked with the Dance Evolution Company and acted in a short film, directed by Raj Bhagat. This started a series of short films done by him. He was the lead in the production of Box face Production, directed by Vinit Mishra. Locha-E-Breakup, Kahani, Chapter Two by Sara & Vethi, and Tamake Chai by the 4 you Studios were some of his short film ventures. He performed for the Hindi ‘& TV’ channel on the occasion of Diwali and did many other performances for various shows on different festivals.

He also did Music videos, one was the ‘Kidre Jawan’ music video for a Youtube channel. After all this, he participated in the Photo shoot of a magazine called “Parisien” and gave surprise to his friends and family. He toured throughout the globe, performing and spreading his charm. He also performed in the event ‘Bharati two’ where he went to Tunisia and some other Asian country and showcased his talent. Abhik went to China for the Golden Belly Global Oriental Dance Art Conference in Beijing in the year 2018. He travelled through the boundaries of Macau, Zhuhai, London, New Jersey and performed their under the name of Dance Asia Tour. Karan Pangdi and Kruti shah were his companion on this expedition.
