Rahul Sarangi is an Indian creative director who worked for the Hindi film industry. He got nearly 20 years of experience in digital and linear content and content operation and production. Sarangi is also an active investor and has well knowledge of the media business. He completed his schooling at Loyola School Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, and completed his Bachelor's in 2003 from St. Xaviers College.
Rahul worked as a Freelance Associate Producer for more than 2 years in Mumbai and worked in various serials in Star Plus many add camping like Lakme, Lakme Fashion Week, and other commercial movies. In his early days, he also worked as a Senior Supervising Producer in MTV Asia as a brand solution team. In May 2008, he joined Colors TV as a part of the launch team. Rahul Sarangi is also the founder and director of Greymatter Entertainment and worked there for 7 years from January 2011 to January 2018. He is the only content creator who has created two IPs that got licensed in more than 10 plus countries.
Presently he is the Vice President of Head of Short Form and New Content Initiative in Hotstar and worked in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
