Cyrus Oshidar

Cyrus Oshidar is a very famous name in the world of MTV networks. Cyrus Oshidar is a creative director from India. He completed his education at The London School of Economics and Political Science in 1986. In 1994, he started working at MTV Networks as an SVP Creative and Content, and then in 2016, at 101India.com. In 2007, he joined Bawa Broadcasting as a creative director. Cyrus is given the credit for bringing MTV Networks to new heights and for making it a powerful youth icon. Cyrus was the one who launched audience favorite MTV Roadies along with MTV Style Awards, and MTV Immies. One Tight Slap, The Liftman, and Gaseous Clay were some of his successful shows. He has also headed the creatives and content department for Nickelodeon, VH1, and MTV.

He was also a consultant to the Government of India’s National Aids Control Organization and the BBC World Service Trust, a guest speaker at Promax, and a judge at the Indian Emmy. He was also the judge for the inaugural of Branded Category content at the Cannes Advertising Lions in 2012. Cyrus has won many local and international awards. He holds various titles such as- The Advertiser of the Year, Youth Marketer of the Year, TV Campaign of the Year, Music Channel of the Year and so on. He also launched a youth digital portal called 101India. He now owns a creative agency named Bawa Broadcasting which provides advertising and branded content.
