Nazneen Shaikh is an Indian model and pageant contestant. She was the winner of the Miss Polo International crown in Nigeria. Nazneen grew up in the city of Surat in Gujarat. All through her childhood, she dreamt of being a professional model. She started grooming herself for pageants during her days in college when she was a finalist for the Campus Princess Contest title. She won successive awards as ‘IIFT Miss Wow’ in 2013 and ‘Miss Gujarat’ in 2014. Her next big step in her career was when she represented her home state at the FBB Femina Miss India Beauty Pageant in 2016. She received nationwide popularity as one of the finalists of the prestigious competition.
Nazneen is a staunch advocator of education and she used her fame to highlight many petitions towards this cause. She started an NGO called ‘Hands Towards Happiness’ which aimed to prioritize and promote education. Her growing modeling career got her selected as the face of India at the Miss Polo pageant held in Abuja, Nigeria. She won the crown and the title in 2018 after defeating 54 other contestants at the first-ever pageant of its kind. The diva has brought great honor to her home country at an international level.
