Rajendra Janglay is a veteran filmmaker and also known as the cinematographer of the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Currently, he lives in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. He speaks many languages like English, Hindi, and Marathi. Indeed, he is a caring person, talented, and an avid dog lover.

Surprisingly, he got five times National Award-Winning filmmaker; he is known for his films Chanderi Nama (released in 2017) won the Best Promotional Award, Rendezvous With Time (2006), Baiga (1989), and “Raga of River Narmada” which is won the National film award for Best Non-feature film. He has served as Creative Director (Films) for Madhya Pradesh Oh for over 20 years and made many notable films on the culture and heritage of the various tribe of central India. Further, he got the Best Film on Social Issues award for the Sankalp movie in 1987.
