Mandar Dewalkar

Mandar Dewalkar (also known as Mandhar Dewalkar) is an Indian cinematographer and educator, working predominantly in the Bollywood industry. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his bachelor's in mass media (advertising) from the University of Mumbai (2009-2012). He got his diploma in Film Making, Cinematography from Whistling Woods International Institute in 2014. He was also a part of the institute’s faculty from July 2016 to April 2019. He worked as an Additional Grip in The Grip Works from August 2014 to March 2015. He then joined RED Digital Cinema in April 2019 and worked as a Product Specialist/Tech Support for 10 months till January 2020.

He also has experience working as a Production Workflow Specialist with Netflix (Jan 2020 - Dec 2020). Mandar has been freelancing as a cinematographer since 2014 in Motion Picture & Film. His well-known works as a cinematographer include Projekt Tyler (short, 2014), As an Artist (Short, 2014), Ram‘ji’Bhai (short, 2015).
