Emanuel Chauhan was only nine years old when he became one of India’s top five finalists of the Junior MasterChef Swaad Ke Ustaad in year 2013. He lives in Kharghar and at that time, he was studying on his 4th grade at the Ryan International. The show brings him to the limelight, thanks to his groundbreaking cooking ideas. At his age, he already traveled in and out of the country, which brings him closer on cooking.Â
Emanuel loves to experiment with food and provides his own twist in every dish he makes. Out of the 3000 participants who join the show, he was lucky to be selected as one of the 86 kids. He presented a steam fish that comes with spinach corn roll and he served it with some Lebanese dip. The judges usually called him as Pagal genius or Bal Bachchan. His dad is his biggest inspiration since he is working in a hotel industry. But even if his passion is about cooking, he wanted to make a flying automobile when he grows up, so to avoid traffic, he said.Â
After the Junior Masterchef, Emanuel conducted several workshops, which was attended by young people who also have passion for cooking. Later on, the tiny tornado was awarded by the Indian Kids Awards (IKA) as favorite chef in year 2014. He co-hosted the cooking show entitled Eat Manual on Zee Khana Khazana, along with
Tanaaz Irani
, which started on October 21, 2014. According to Chef Vikas, he was the first kid to have his very own cookery show. Eat Manual was derived from his name Emanuel.
