Zen Saluja

Zen Saluja is the elder son of actress, producer, and anchor Tara Sharma and ad-filmmaker Roopak Saluja. The kid who was born on June 26, 2009, is 12 years of age. Tara and Roopak’s elder son gets his name from a play written by his grandfather, Partap Sharma. Tara’s father, Partap Sharma, was a playwright, novelist and who wrote books for children. Her older kid Zen’s name is inspired by a play called Zen Katha, written by her father.

Zen has appeared in Tara’s talk show The Tara Sharma Show as himself. In the show, Tara, his mom, talks about parenting, child care, interacts with celebrities, viewers, and experts. In Tara’s words, after Zen was born, the actress could not get much work from the acting field. Being blessed with a kid, Tara experienced the joys of being a parent. Being torn between the desire to work and be with the family simultaneously inspired the actress to become a mompreneur.

She started her talk show, based on her blog, which she began writing after becoming a mom. The show which focuses on family and parenting at the same time has been a smash and has become a platform for relevant discussions. The show hosts guests, both celeb and non-celeb from time to time and has had appearances from renowned actors like Aamir Khan, John Abraham, cricketer Virat Kohli, among others.

Zen is a fan of spiderman, and sometime back, started an online fundraiser for the event Evolve 2020: Let’s Stand Together. Zen is the great-grandson of Dr. Baijnath Sharma, a civil engineer who was a technical advisor to the Ceylon, Libya, and Tanganyika governments. Zen’s father, Roopak Saluja, is a Doon and INSEAD alumnus. He is a media entrepreneur who owns several media houses. Zen, along with his brother Kai and his parents, Tara and Roopak, are spotted at different events, including Cannes Film Festival. His mother keeps sharing his and his family member’s videos and pictures on Instagram.
