. Ahana was adopted by the couple after two years of marriage on 3rd September 2013. Her mother, Neelam Kothari, is an Indian Jewelry Designer and a very well-known actress, and her father Samir Soni is an Indian Actor, Film Director, and Model. Both her parents are Indian by nationality, but her mother was born in Hong Kong and her father in London, UK. Although the couple makes a rare appearance with daughter Ahana, the solid and lovely bond could be seen through pictures posted by mother Neelam. During the adoption, the couple had said they wanted a baby around 6-7 months old. Also, Neelam said that Samir doesn't have any sister and he grew up in an all-boys family, so the couple thought if not a sister, then why not a daughter and the couple had never failed to show their immense love towards their lovely daughter Ahana.
