Anuj Poddar has remained the business head of Viacom18 Media Private Limited for around eight years. He has been a Board Member of The Advertising Standards Council of India since September 2023. Anuj Poddar began his career in 1995 as an Assurance, Mergers & Acquisition Advisory and Consultant. After that, he became the co-founder and director of Nirvana Services Pvt Ltd in 2000 until 2001. Anuj Poddar worked for Andersen Business Consulting as a senior consultant for the next two years.
He has worked for a few big naming companies like KPMG, Viacom18 Media Private Limited, IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ananta Aspen Centre, Bajaj Electricals Ltd, Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA), The Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA), Electric Lamp & Component Manufacturers Association Of India, Indian Fan Manufacturers Association, and Confederation of Indian Industry. He has now been working for The Advertising Standards Council of India for the last five months.
