Akriti Saronwala

Akriti Saronwala is a producer and country manager from India. But she is staying in the United States. She went to The Mother's International School for her primary education. She pursued her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce. Later, she did a diploma in media sales and marketing from the Mudra Institute of Communication from 2013 to 2014. From 2017 to 2019, she obtained her Master’s degree in Arts (MA) in screenwriting from the University of the Arts in London. Initially, she started her career at Teach for India and worked as a fellow for almost seven months.

Later, for nearly four years, she worked with Viacom18 Media Private Limited. She started working there as an Ad sales account executive and worked on various projects. However, with her skills, she was soon promoted to the post of associate producer. As an associate producer, she achieved multiple channel targets and client requirements and conceptualised, scripted and edited material from shows and music videos. Besides that, she worked on several award campaigns and shows aired on the channels.

For instance, she worked at The Grammys, The Brit Awards, and The Billboards. Eventually, in 2018, she started working under The MTV Staying Alive Foundation. She began as a Partnerships and Marketing Manager but soon she got promoted to the post of country manager in Mumbai. She has worked on various multi-media campaigns telling unheard gender narratives through short films in different countries, including Nigeria, Brazil, the US, Kenya, and India. However, Akriti Saronwala is specifically known for his work as the producer of the TV series MTV Nishedh (2020).
