Vedvanti Kasture

Vedanti Kasture is an Indian Assistant Director who hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra. She studied Humanities at Delhi Police Public School and pursued Journalism Honors at Delhi University. Vedanti enrolled in the Digital Media Course at Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. After that, Vedanti worked as the second assistant director for the web series produced by Window Seat Films and she joined Matchbox Pictures, Mumbai, for the series ‘Scoop, directed by renowned Director Hansal Mehta.

During her initial days, Vedanti worked as an Assistant Director for Audio Visual Productions in the New Delhi area. Vedanti directed various projects, including a Diploma Project, Wedding Detective – a pilot episode of a web series and a documentary project, Khela- A Game, in 2018.  Later on, she assisted in a Short Film ‘Mintgumri.’ Besides her direction capabilities, Vedanti possesses several other skills like script supervision, actor management, and film continuity. She has exceptional skills in multimedia camera directing.
