Poonam Chavan is an actress who works in the Marathi film and TV industry. Poonam did not start her career in the acting world, she used to work as a receptionist but already had dreams of making it in the acting world. She is a trained dancer and she started dancing since her childhood days. Poonam, along with working as a receptionist, was attending auditions on the side and finally started getting work in the Marathi TV industry. She appeared in cameo roles on various Marathi TV serials on Star Pravah and other channels. In 2016, she made her acting debut in Marathi film Sal.
