Mukund Choudhary

Mukund Choudhary is an Indian art enthusiast and multidisciplinary designer by profession with five years of experience in film and companies. He has worked in domains such as Visual Design, Art Direction, Publicity Design, Production Design, and Concept Art (Illustrations and matte Painting) in various projects. Mukund Choudhary is the founder of PalettebyMukund since July 2020. He has been working as a visual designer at DeHaat in Gurugram, Haryana, since April 2022. 

Mukund Choudhary took his primary education at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandir, Katihar (1999 – 2007). He completed his matriculation at Scottish Public School, Katihar (2008 – 2012). Simultaneously, Mukund Choudhary finished his grad (distance learning) in Fine Arts and Classical Music at Nikhil Bharat Sangeet Samiti, Kolkata (2004 – 2012). After that, he took his intermediate studies (PCM) at DAV Kapildev Public School in Ranchi, Jharkhand (2012 – 2014). Later, he went to the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bhubaneswar, to pursue a Bachelor's in Design and Fashion Communication (2015 – 2019). Mukund Choudhary was awarded with the Best Graduation Project Award by the National Institute of Fashion Technology in 2019.

Mukund Choudhary was a visual merchandiser at CYSD in Bhubaneswar for four months (Feb 2018 – May 2018). As an art assistant and graphic designer, he worked at Lost Boy Media Productions in Mumbai for six months (Jun 2018 – Nov 2018). He worked in the ALT Balaji web series, “Puncch Beat.” He generated and presented compelling design ideas for set & props, contributing to the overall creative vision, and conducted thorough evaluations to identify suitable studios & locations for shoot scenes.

He also fostered effective cross-team collaboration by working closely with the design, vendors, and construction team, ensuring seamless execution of the designs. From Jan 2019 to Aug 2019, Mukund Choudhary worked as an art assistant for Sabu Cyril Design Unlimited at Arko Mediaworks in Hyderabad, Telangana. He worked for the Netflix original series, “Bahubali – Before the Beginning,” in which he successfully managed & coordinated a diverse team of set assistants, including versatile artists.

As an assistant art director and concept artist, Mukund Choudhary has worked at Dharma Productions for the film, “Takht.” He conceptualized the publicity design for the teaser shoot of “Takht – YouTube.” Also, he efficiently managed a workshop of over a hundred set assistants. He worked as an assistant art director for the "Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal” film at Rowdy Pictures Private Limited in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Mukund Choudhary was a Senior Concept Artist at Curedemy in Bengaluru, Karnataka, for four months (Nov 2021 – Feb 2022). He led an animation series team comprising storyboard artists and concept artists.
