Anjan Gajurel

Anjan Gajurel is an art director and production manager in the Indian film industry, working since 2003. He was born in Janakpur, Nepal and relocated to Mumbai in 1998 to pursue his passion for art. He earned a degree in Fine Arts from the renowned Sir J. J. School of Art in Mumbai in 2002. Anjan's initial goal, however, was to study further and become a VFX Designer, but life had a different plan for him. The VFX course was very expensive and unaffordable for him at that time. Subsequently, he had to give up his dream. At the suggestion of a friend, he joined the industry as an art director and started working. His first excursion in the industry as an art director was when he joined Balaji Telefilms Limited in 2002.

In the following years, he worked for several renowned production houses like UTV, Yash Raj Films, Aamir Khan Productions Private Limited, MTV Turkey, etc. In his tenure of over 20 years, he worked in several films, TV shows and commercials in the industry. Some of the films in which he was an art director include- Kabul Express (2006), Kerry On Kutton (2016), Aa Gaya Hero (2017), Ludo (2020), Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023), and The Vaccine War (2023). He was the production designer for Kerry On Kutton (2016), Metro... In Dino (2024), and The World's Happiest Man. Anjan's skill and creativity helped him climb the ladder in the industry and make a name for himself. In 2023, he was awarded the Captivating Creation Award.
