Vijay Moparthi

Vijay is an animator, concept artist, illustrator, motion graphic and UI designer in the entertainment industry. He completed his post-graduation in animation film design and communication design at national institute of design. Vijay also obtained his master’s in character animation and animated filmmaking at Gobelins Paris. He worked as an associate designer at Cognizant, where his primary responsibilities were designing UI and UX for the applications and websites according to the client’s guidelines and brand value, working with the team of developers and business analysts to understand the requirements and carrying out these requirements and guiding the developers in making a working prototype.

He also worked as a production & publicity designer at Eyewink Productions, where he worked on the film “ Guppedantha Prema Click to look into! >> Read More... ,” creating pre-production storyboards for crucial sequences, designing characters, costumes and styling based on the story and inputs given by the director, designing interior sets for key shots and designing posters for digital and print media. He worked as a freelance concept artist at free dominion studio, where he was responsible for creating the art concept of both characters and environment and sports games for playstation, designing the UI, creating the graphic elements based on the guidelines of the game and guiding the art departments and programmers on visual design.

He worked as UI Designer at RamuKaka, where his primary responsibilities were creating high quality graphic designs from concept to execution at various resolutions, creation of icons, infographics illustrated backgrounds for transforming brand strengths and visual assets to a product interface enhancing user's experience. He worked as an Animator and publicity designer at pirates productions, where he was responsible for designing and creating main title sequence, postures and brochures for the film “Murder I Wrote,” and also help the director to make the film attractive for marketing and publicity.

He also worked as freelance motion graphic designer, motion graphic designer at Pramati technologies private limited, as a design development artist at ellipse studio, as an animator and visual development artist at shotopop, as a character design and background assistant at studio redfrog and as a senior animator motion graphics at LEO learning. He also worked in the films, such as “ Gali Guleiyan Click to look into! >> Read More... ,” which focuses on the character of khuddoos, who is a lonely man and keeps a watch on people through hidden camera. However, he becomes obsessed with the voice of a boy, who is beaten up within the walls of his house and starts to lose the grip of reality and time.
