Saloni Khanna Patel

Saloni Khanna Patel is an Indian actress and model who predominantly works in the Hindi and Punjabi film industries. She was born on 4th March 1983 in a Punjabi family in Delhi. Her father was an IBM employee, and she has a younger sister Tripti Khanna. She graduated from St. Stephen's College in Delhi with a Bachelor's degree in Technology in Electronics and Instrumentation. She married the Indian actor, model, and screenwriter Viraf Patel in May 2021. She is known for her roles in the web series The Raikar Case, Campus Diaries and the award-winning short film The Good News.

Before her debut in the entertainment industry, she was an assistant manager at Kingfisher Airlines. She first appeared in the music video Chakkwein Suit in 2015. In 2016 she was featured on the front cover of the Wedding Vows magazine. During this time she also appeared in Sunsilk and OLX commercials. Her acting debut was in the TV mini-series The Heartbreak Hotel in 2019. Her performance in the 2019 comedy TV series Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala bagged her a role in the thriller web series The Raikar Case in 2020, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. She appeared in the mini-series Broken But Beautiful, The Elephant in the Room, Sunflower, and Potluck, and in 2022, she starred in the coming-of-age drama series Campus Diaries.

The year became pivotal for her career, as she and Gauri Batra portrayed the lead roles in the Danish Renzu short film The Good News. It won the Best Short Film Award at the New Jersey International Film Festival in 2023 and the Best Social Message Short Film Award at the Washington DC South Asian Film Festival in 2022. My Father's Doctor is her second short drama directed by Danish Renzu in 2023. Along with her acting career, Saloni Patel has walked the ramps of many fashion shows and is also a trained classical Kathak dancer.
