After years of struggling, Qureshi got his first break in the adventure comedy Side A & Side B (2018). Zahid performed a small role in the film “2 Band Radio” (2019), in which his limited screen time made a very impactful impression. He gained worldwide recognition by portraying the role of Billa in the love story “Lines,” which earned him the award for “Best Supporting Actor” at the 2020 Montgomery International Film Festival (MIFF). Besides being an actor, Qureshi served as the Youth President of the National Conference for 12 years. He left his political career to pursue a career in filmmaking because of his love for it.
