Vijay Kumar Singh is an Indian television actor, script supervisor, and editor. He worked in many famous tv shows like Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain and Lapataganj. His acting skills were on display in movies like Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Mumbai Dairies 26/11 and Triveni. Vijay Kumar Singh was born in India and currently lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He’s popularly known for his role as 'Master Ji' in the famous tv show known as Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain. He made his first appearance in this show in 2015, one of his popular catchphrases in the well known Television show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain is “Sanskar Naam ki koi cheez hoti hain.” In an interview he said that he was very fascinated by this role.

He finished his Highschool in 1992 at Devi Public School. He further mentioned that in his school life, many teachers inspired him for this role. He also added that his role is a mix of their characters. He was also a student of NSD (National School of Drama) in 2004. In 2010, he got married and moved back to Mumbai in 2015, where he landed his role of ‘Master Ji’ in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain.

Before his success in Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain, he used to work in a sitcom called ‘Lapataganj’ where everybody appreciated his role. These roles earned him a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He also mentioned in an interview the struggles of being of average stature and of normal looks in the entertainment industry and how he likes to turn his negative features into positive features for the role, how he reads the emotions of the director and works according to them, how he draws inspiration from nature and how it’s the caliber of an actor that matters the most, not the height or the looks of an actor in the entertainment industry.
