Sailesh Kumar

Sailesh Kumar was an actor in the Hindi Film Industry. He was born in Jodhpur in the state of Rajasthan as Shambunath Purohit. He later changed his name to Sailesh Kumar when he entered the film industry in the 1960s. Sailesh was a theatre enthusiast since his days in college. During his entire career, Sailesh mostly played supporting roles in big-budget movies and featured in the lead in small-budget films. He was noticed in the movie Kaajal (1965), in which he was seen in the role of Dharmendra’s friend.
