Mirza Muhammad Begg was born on 27th December 1903 in Calcutta, India. He has completed his Senior Cambridge. Mirza Muhammad Begg never had plans to enter the Film Industry. It was just his destiny that landed him into an acting career. His career started when he just went on to watch the shooting of Yahoodi ki Ladki at New Theatres and got a small role to play in the same movie. After this incident, he got an offer from B.N. Sircar, founder of New Theatre, to work as a Production Manager for the movie Karwan-e-Hayat. He got another chance to work as an actor in this movie, and the role was of an old witch.
The makeup department did its job, and Begg did his. At the time of release, the makers were worried about disclosing the name, so Begg came up with the solution and suggested displaying his name as Nemo, which means Nobody/Nothing. Begg’s career had lots of opportunities and challenges. Begg has worked in more than 25+ films like Devdas, Dushman, Karodpati, Manzil, Vidyapati, Abhagin, Raja Vikram, Shri420, Choron ki Barat, Paheli Nazar, Jaaagte Raho, Haar Jeet Haar Jeet is a Hindi language television drama air >> Read More... , Aandhi, Saugandh, President, and many more. He has also edited and published the very popular Urdu Magazine Akkas. Begg had been a successful actor and was also a National Billiards Champion. He had won the title of Open Billiards Championship two times in the years 1931 & 1937. Begg distinguished everything he touched. We lost this bundle of talent and extraordinary humanity on 18th August 1960.
