Imtiaz Barshon

Imtiaz Barshon is a Bangladeshi actor, born in Chittagong. Even though he studied Political science at Chittagong College, he was always passionate about acting. He completed an acting course at the FAME School of Dance, Drama, and Acting while still a student. His career in the entertainment industry formally began in 2011 after he moved to Dhaka.

According to him, he started off working as a director, followed by a few other projects as an assistant director, through which he got the opportunity to act on the big screen. He realized how much he loved acting after continuous performances in theatres. After that, he landed roles in several other movies like Chandrabati Kotha (2020), Munshigiri (2021), Nishwas (2022), Apolap (2023), and Ora Sat Jon (THE 7) (2023). He is dedicated to his profession and has no issues playing gritty roles like that of an antagonist as he tries to do justice to any character he is given to play.
