Lalit Lad is an Indian writer who started off with Shaan I Memon’s short film Chakkar Dot Com. He worked on more than 300 episodes which were telecasted on Doordarshan, Gujarati TV Serials, Gujarati Telefilms, Gujarati Feature Films, Hindi Telefilms, Song Writing, and Play Writing. He wrote the 2015’s popular Gujarati Romantic Comedy Drama Chaki Kahe Chaka Jo Baka. and featured Nishith Brahmbhatt, Khyaati Madhoo, and Preyasi Naik in chief roles. He also wrote the Gujarati film Kookh, which was released in 2016 and almost 40 books & Novels. He gave his immense contributions to the daily humor columns of Gujarat Samachar & Divya Bhaskar from 2003 to 2016. He began his teaching as a visiting faculty at NID for Illustration Courses (1986 to 1990). Mr. Lad continued to be visiting faculty at NID, MIT, MICA, Gujarat University for Script Writing (2009 to 2016).
