Himali Vyas Nayak, a Gujarati vocalist, began studying Indian classical music at four. She graduated with honors from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharv Mandal with a Sangeet Visharad degree. She is a vocalist, lyricist, and playback singer who has studied Indian classical, semi-classical, and western music her entire life. She has a master's degree in American and English literature. She has played semi-classical, Indian light music, Bollywood, and experimental music in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, and the United Kingdom, and the United States.

She attended the Chaalo Gujarat-World Gujarati Conference in New Jersey, USA, twice, in 2008 and 2012. Himali also took part in a highly successful musical tour of ten cities in the United States, including Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Washington D.C., Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey, with the Ohmkara, LLC organizers in June 2015.

She participated in 11 regional, Bollywood, and folk music presentations and received a succession of standing ovations from international audiences. In 2006, the Gujarati Sugam Sangeet organization named her the "Best Singer of Gujarat." Himali was awarded the 'Daughter of Gujarat' sanman by the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce in 2014.
